GOMANEC 2023 INFO CENTRE.

RE : SCREENING OF EVANG. SETO AKINWANDE AND PASTOR TUNDE AYODELE.
The above candidates were screened on 24th of January, 2023, via Telegram. All the committee members present subjected them to questioning on some burning issues.

After a meticulous interview of the contestants, it was discovered that Evang. Seto Akinwande has been suspended since 15th of December 2020, and issued a query for INSUBORDINATION and DISCREDITABLE CONDUCT while her Governor Evang Mercy Alayo was queried for INSUBORDINATION and NEGLIGENCE ON DUTY which they all failed to reply till date.

Pastor. Tunde Ayodele was removed from office of National welfare by the National Executive Council (NEC) on 2nd of march 2021 for his INACTIVENESS, ABSENTEEISM and DESERTION. And has not been re-instated.

The President, Evang. (Dr) Funmi Aragbaye has submitted all relevant documents to the committee in respect of the query, suspension and removal from office of these contestants.

It is also worthy of mention, that, the Governor of the duo did no assent their forms. Which means, disssaproval . Signing of the contestant form by his or her Governor is one of our constitutional provisions that must be met and without the recommendation of the Governor the person is not eligible.

By the foregoing, Evang. Seto Akinwande and pastor Tunde Ayodele are not eligible to participate in the forthcoming election unless they clear their encumbrances.

This is the list of successful candidates for the screening held on the above date.

Based on the request channeled through the office of our President, that we should extend the screening for a period of five days. In compliance with this, we have extended and opened windows of opportunity for intrested members that were left out or unable to meet up with the screening and still want to vye for one post or the other should do so on time, so that they can be screened and published within the stipulated period without fail.

Moreso, all the serving officers should forward their resignation letter to avoid disqualification.
The date of election is still 17th of February, 2023 and is sacrosanct. By this repeated information, all candidates can immediately swing into action and embark on Purposeful and peaceful campaign devoid of rancor and calumny .

Be reminded that we are God’s general with stellar qualities of our Jesus christ. In john 3:27, the bible says, “A person can receive only what is given them from heaven(NIV).

This election shouldn’t be a do or die affairs. The election is going to be transparent, free, fair and peaceful.
